Stella Creasy MP

Stella Creasy is the Labour MP for Walthamstow. She has tirelessly called on the government to change its guidelines on sex & relationships education in our schools, and in 2016-17 led an all-female group of MPs proposing an amendment to the Children and Social Work Bill, which would have made SRE compulsory. Sadly the amendment was rejected, but Creasy eventually succeeded on SRE: it will be made compulsory in all English schools from September 2019.
